About StackHonest
StackHonest covers AI automation tools from the buyer's side: what each tier actually costs, where the free plan runs out, and which number on the pricing page is the one that bites.
Why this site exists
Search "best AI tools" and you get listicles whose rankings are quietly ordered by commission size, with prices copied from each other and years out of date. Every comparison here is researched from vendor documentation and current pricing pages, with the date of the check stated on the page, and I'll tell you when the answer is "skip it" or "the free option is fine." What you will not find here is a claim that anyone put these tools through a trial: nobody did, and a review that invents that experience is worth less than one that states its method.
How I make money (straight up)
Some links are affiliate links. When you sign up through one, the company pays me a cut — it costs you nothing extra. Two rules keep that honest:
- Rankings never change because of commission. Zapier pays affiliates nothing and it's still in every comparison where it belongs.
- If a free option is the right answer, I say so — n8n self-hosted is literally the top recommendation on this site and it pays $0 when you self-host.

Comparison pages link to vendor sources and state when pricing was checked. Re-check the vendor before buying. The template availability page explains why no download or signup is currently offered.
Privacy policy
Browsing this site
The current StackHonest pages contain no analytics or advertising scripts, and no code that sets cookies or uses browser storage. There is no account, comment box or active newsletter signup. That does not make a visit anonymous to the hosting provider: your browser still sends requests to GitHub Pages to load the site.
GitHub operates the hosting infrastructure and describes its own data handling in its privacy statement. StackHonest does not control the host's processing or retention.
Links and affiliate attribution
Some outbound links contain affiliate identifiers. If you follow one, the destination or affiliate provider may process your visit and use its own cookies or other tracking under its own privacy notice. The affiliate identifier in a link identifies this publisher; you do not need to provide an email address to browse StackHonest. Browser privacy controls can limit cookies and referrer information. This site does not implement a separate response to Do Not Track signals.
If you email the studio
For corrections or privacy questions, email digitalconsultingstudios@gmail.com. Include the relevant page address and only the information needed to explain the request; do not send passwords, payment details or identity documents. Email provides your sender address and whatever message content you choose to send.
The inbox is hosted by Gmail; Google's privacy policy describes that provider's processing. Messages are used to handle the inquiry, not to enroll you in a newsletter. No fixed retention deadline is promised here; retention can depend on the inquiry and the provider's systems. You can use the same address to request access, correction or deletion of information you supplied; any applicable retention obligations and the email provider's systems may limit what can be removed.
Changes to this notice
The dated notice on this page will be updated if the site's data collection changes. Email collection or a new analytics integration must not be enabled without updating this notice and checking the actual delivery and consent flow.
