Sheetrock Installation for New Construction — Mat-Su Valley
Hang, tape, and finish for new homes, additions, and shops across Wasilla, Palmer, Big Lake, and the whole valley. Family-run crew, straight quotes. Se habla español.
From Bare Studs to Paint-Ready Walls
New construction drywall is a schedule game: the framer is done, the electrician and plumber have passed inspection, and now the walls need to close up fast — without shortcuts that show up later as cracked seams or wavy joints under the living-room lights.
What our new-construction scope typically covers:
- Board delivery coordination and stocking each room
- Hanging — ceilings first, walls tight, screws set right
- Taping and mudding to Level 4 (standard) or Level 5 (smooth wall)
- Corner bead that stays straight through Alaska freeze–thaw cycles
- Texture: orange peel, knockdown, or smooth
- Garage and shop board, including fire-rated assemblies where code requires
Built for Alaska Schedules
We work new builds across the Mat-Su Valley year-round. Winter drywall is normal here — it just has to be done right: the structure needs stable heat and the mud needs real drying time between coats. We plan the visits around that instead of pretending Alaska is Arizona.
For builders and owner-builders
- Send the plans or square footage. Board count and a bid usually within a couple of days.
- Lock the window. We coordinate with your inspection schedule so the crew shows up when the house is actually ready.
- Hang, tape, texture. One crew start to finish — no handoffs, no mystery subs.
Doing an owner-build or a garage yourself and just want the taping done? We take finish-only jobs too — ask.
